From The Pastor:

"Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” Luke 6:38

When we read this verse, the first thing that most of us think about is that - God is talking about our money. But I don't think so much that Luke is referring to our financial giving, as he is talking about our heart giving. Most of the time, when we give, we just give of our excess, our leftover. But when we bring God, our first, our best, He promises us that "with the same measure we use, it will be measured back."

How much of ourselves, are we giving to Christ? Are we only doing what is necessary, our minimum? Are we just putting forth our minimum effort, hoping that God will grant us maximum gain? We wouldn't feed our scraps, our crumbs to our children, whom we love; why do we insist on giving Christ, Who gave us His all, - our leftovers? "Give, and it will be given to you: god measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over. will be put into your bosom."
Just some food for thought today.

Blessings today,
