After the Sermon Reflections November 1,2026
Jonah 1:17-2-10 Repenting With God's Will
In the belly of the fish, Jonah cried out to God and God heard him. What seemed like the end became a place of prayer and mercy. As you reflect on Sunday's message, consider these questions.
1. Inside the belly of the large fish Jonah was desperate';so, he prayed to the Lord. Have you ever felt desperate? What can Jonah's prayer teach us about turning to God?
2. How did God Show Jonah mercy, even after his disobedience?
Where have you experienced God's mercy in your life?
3. Jonah remembered the Lord when his strength was fading.
What helps you remember God's presence when you feel discouraged or far from Him.
4. Jonah offered thanksgiving before he was delivered from the fish.
What can you thank God for while you are still waiting for an
answer?
5. Jonah acknowledged that salvation comes from the Lord.
Is there something you need to stop trying to handle alone and entrust to Him?
This Week: Take a few quiet moments to bring an honest prayer to God. Thank Him for His mercy and ask Him to help you take you next step in obedience.
Prayer: Lord, than You for hearing us even in our deepest struggles. Help us turn to You, trust Your mercy. and follow where You Lead . Amen
